Paul Valentine

In 2005 Paul's love of music drove him to take guitar lessons and soon after that he started playing the acoustic guitar and electric bass. Paul has been involved with other Southwest Michigan groups such as: String Addiction, The 24th Avenue Band and the Midnite Riders. Paul enjoys Rock n Roll, Country Music and "The Blues".

His influences are his father-in-law Papa Joe Rzanca,
Father Roger (A longtime Barbershop vocalist), His "MusicMentor" Charlie Fritsche, Merle Haggard, Marshall Tucker Band, CCR,
George Jones and Mr. Buddy Guy.

Paul co-founded the original "Black River Band" the summer of 2010.
